honestly...what questions have they answered?

They did answer what was inside the hatch, what the black rock was, and who the others were really after.

All those all of those just led to more questions.

I think it was originally 42 that surivived the Crash. 3 have died, there was the person that Ethan killed, Arnst the science teacher that blew up and the person that drowned that Jack tried to save in an early episode. Clare's baby brings it back to forty.

Don't forget about Boone.

For the most part that episode was boring as hell. But there is this little nugget. Walt's picture was on the milk carton during the dream sequence

Oh, and the fact that Hurley's boss from the chicken place was the same guy that was Locke's boss at the box company.

so the guy was working two jobs or at different times, the same guy was the boss.

I don't know that. It's the same actor and the character has the same name, Randy. Not sure on the time frame.

But Hurley does own the box company that Locke worked for. Maybe he hired the guy?

Oh wah. I love this season as much as the last.

The time frame could work so it's the same guy. Hurley's Chicken place did blow up or something didn't it? and there was some time between Hurley getting money and the plane crash. Maybe Hurley gave him a job because Hurley blamed the explosion on his bad luck and the guy was gonna be homeless. He did talk about how everyone wanted something and complained about how he was giving people stuff in the episode. Who knows?

edited for sense making

Anyone have a screen cap of the symbol in the bunker the 23 other survivors were in? It is different, but forgot to record it so I can't rewatch it to see.

You are forgetting some people. The captian of the plane survived to be killed by the monster. The FBI guy that died from the wounds in the crash. Then there was Boone, Shannon's 1/2 brother.

Also, too much has been made of this Apollo candy bar for it to have no significance. Boone had one in the pilot episode, Kate grabbed a few, and then there are a whole two lines dedicated to it during this episode.

All I know so far is it was made by hershey's and has been discontinued for like 20 years.

We need a closeup of an Apollo wrapper.

Apollo was the Greek God of the Sun wasn't he? Maybe it has something to do with the painting in the bunker. it has the sun in it with the numbers 108 in the middle.
