I didn't have high hopes for this one, but after watching it tonight, I really enjoyed it. I had no idea it was based on true events. It certainly gives you something to think about at the end.

I also really enjoyed it when it first came out...a serious message talked about in a casual sort of way...if I remember correctly, I felt that they trivialized the message a bit TOO much but the movie was definitely still well written and directed. Seeing that and "The Constant Gardener" in the same week was quite interesting.

I liked it. Good movie.

Those russian tanks you saw at the airfield was actually provided by an arms dealer. They had to finish the shoot in a day because he was shipping them off to a buyer soon.

So good I actually bought it. Thought it made a good point: "how to arm the other 11?" Maybe if the refugees shot back, it might reduce the mass graves....

I thought it was a good movie..

It didn't really seem to take a liberal or conservative perspective as much as it just tried to educate. I mean.. it seemed to have some liberal propaganda - but that was always offset by conservative propaganda - and it always was somewhat sarcastic about it.

I liked how it seemed to make an effort to show that guns are a somewhat necessary evil..

OK so everyone thought this was a great flick. I was disappointed. It came off too much as a documentary on the sale of weapons. I expected to be entertained and actually stopped watching the movie a little over half finished. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood or maybe this movie just wasn't very good.

There's a slow point in the middle.. but it picks up again.
