Underworld 1 was excellent back in the day ('92 for me). I doubt it's aged well without nostalgia glasses.

Can't wait for Crusader: No Remorse, I can't believe I'll finally get to play that one again after all those years (last time I played it I still owned my original PlayStation).

Damn, it's not the Dungeon Keeper Gold edition. That one had Direct3D acceleration and made it look much nicer.

I just bought that too. I know it's an old DOS game, but I should have listened to the comments as the graphics are pretty tough to get involved with. Wonder if they can be tweaked at all?

One of these might help you:

If these don't do what you want, look around the the other messages on the sub - Dungeon Keeper Forums at GOG:

Ah, memories. Commander Keen was one of the very first computer games I played after our family purchased a Packard Bell 386 SX 20 Mhz machine from Costco for Christmas 1991. I never had a Nintendo or anything like that growing up, so it was a pretty big deal to see a "real game" and not just some educational Math Blaster BS or whatever stuff we had at school on the old Apple IIs and IIIs. I convinced my parents to order the actual game on 5.25" floppies direct from Apogee (id's publisher/distributor at the time), and remember when they showed up in a manilla envelope with Xeroxed instructions/installation guide. AND THE SHAREWARE EPISODE OF WOLFENSTEIN 3D, which blew my little 10-year old mind.

Man, those were the days. *sniff*

Wow...that's pretty much exactly my childhood story except we bought our Packard Bell 386 SX 20 from Circuit City. +1 for nostalgia.

Thanks a lot! I was googling around for texture packs and came up empty, never thought of looking in the GOG forums :)

After reading all the posts I came up with some edits for the config file and while I'm still messing around thus far the results are a lot less muddy looking graphics with smoother edges. Much more playable then before.
