Looks like G71 will have those 32 pipes after all.

So I guess I should cancel my 512 GTX order at dell.com? My order says it's going to ship on or before 1/4/06. I'm getting it for $665 shipped. When I ordered it, Dell was selling them for $700. They've since bumped the price up to $741. I had a $100 American Express Rewards Certificate which I used.

Anyway, maybe I should get the card anyway and try and sell it on ebay. What do you guys think?

Cancel it - much better cards coming out in January.

Can't agree more with 5150Joker. Also, with all of The One Who's Name Shall Not Be Mentioned's pimping of nvidia I think I'm gonna hold out till the REAL next gen and most likely purchase an R600.

I know for sure I'm not going to put it in my rig. However, making a quick buck on ebay is tempting.

In that case, should I submit my order to step up to the 512 GTX? I'm ready to go in the queue as we speak, all I need to do is to send my card in. I would be cardless for a little while, that's the only problem :

It's $200 for me to step up. Consider shipping there and back is about $15 a piece. $230. How much does one think I could net on EB@Y if I post before the 10th? 🙂 Enough to almost cover the step up plus an upgrade to an R580 or G71? 🙂

keep the order.....sell it on ebay.

people buy toast that looks like jesus on ebay....you'll easy make back the money u spent.
but if dell arent gonna get it to u for a while, then theres no point. you need to have it an sell it before the new cards are out. or else its just not going to be as desirable
