Well, its been a while since my last post asking for music. Now, instead of Enya, I simply want some nice warm dark, ominous music with a sense of foreboding. Some examples might be: Metallica - Until it Sleeps, Unforgiven II; Apocalyptica - Hall of Mountain KIng (original version is fairly dark as well); Slayer - Dead Skin Mask; Rachmaninoff - Prelude in C Sharp Minor; etc. I prefer Metal and Classical, and coincidentally those two genres tend to have the darkest songs. So if you know of any good songs that evoke feelings of foreboding, or evil, or darkness, let me have 'em! :) ( we need a good evil smiley)

Damn, how could I forget to mention Therion!
Dimmu Borgir's music isn't always that depressing btw, far more uplifting than CoF for example.

True, but it's certainly 'dark' music (Black and Death Metal) and foreboding :)

Absolute Sole Right (Dimmu Borgir)

The music from Riven is kinda dark and creepy in a quiet sort of way. Otherwise you could try the Sixth Sense or Sleepy Hollow soundtracks for something more lively.
