DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and game on a 24" TN computer LCD, you can't touch them in terms of "input lag", they are 1080p and beyond,, AND they're CHEAPPPPPPPPPPPP

Samsung DLP, almost four years old now.

I think the g25 series are great TVs but just be sure there is little light in the room, their screens reflect.

I'm still deliberating with the wife over a G25 or the S2. My wife does not want to spring for the G25 :(.

47" Phillips, was about $900 just before SuperBowl Sunday. I play all types of games on it, including Bad Company 2 online, and haven't noticed any perceptible lag. I am usually pretty sensitive to that sort of thing. Game mode is definitely the way to go on this set. Both for games and movie watching. The contrast and colors are better (I am a little color blind, but my non-afflicted roommate agrees), and you can actually use a PC on it in that mode. We also turned off some sort of dynamic contrast feature, it would adjust based on ambient lighting and the scene. My problem with it was that since it is a CCFL backlight and all one backlight it is not as useful as it would be on one with LED backlighting, particularly the ones with multiple backlighting zones.
