Atlantean you are in canada, and so am I. The new LG L226WT has just become available at Futureshop and the Silver model is on sale for 399$.

I am just coming back from having a look at it. It was sitting side-by-side with a Samsung 225BW (not 226) and I was able to check vision angles sensistivity for both, as this is my main beef with 22-inch TN widescreens.
There is no doubt that the LG L226WT has better vision angles than the Samsung 225BW. From about 24 inches viewing distance, if I position my eyes in front of the bottom of the screen, the top of the Samsung's screen appears darker and browner, while no such effect is noticeable on the LG. I have to sink even lower below the LG to see this effect.
Left-Right sensitivity also appears noticeably better on the LG, but the problem is less critical than in the vertical axis to start with.
I have seen Acer, Samsung (225) and Viewsonic 22-inch widescreens until now, but the LG is the first I see that doesn't have obvious unacceptable (for me) viewing angle limitations.
I thought I would have to eliminate all 22-inch widescreens from consideration, but now, the LG L226WT might make me reconsider this. Since Futureshop allows for a full, no-question-asked refund within 15 days of purchase, I might well decide to pick up the LG L226WT as soon as I get a GeForce 8600 series card, in a couple of months. I guess the price will by then have settled well below $ 400.
I encourage you to go to Futureshop and have a look at the LG L226WT
