well, if you watercool your cards, you can replace the double bracket with a single bracket, however, you will need a bit of space below the card to put an elbow joint or run the tubing straight out;.

the thing about the TJ-07 is that it has a separate area. You need a separate area to run a watercooling system like you want to attempt. you will not have enough room for a radiator in either case, unless you want to mount it externally or bust out a dremel.

That ABS case is a really nice case WOW! But I have to admit, New Egg is a little high on the case prices. I bought that case I mentioned above at New Egg, here, but at Sundial Micro for 40$ cheaper; same case.

You may find the LLA70A would fit what your looking to do or MM has come out with I new line of full tower modular cases that look very interesting. Best of luck with your high end build. See my water cooled page for pics of the LLA70A I was able to fit 1 MCR320, 1 MCR220 and 1 MCR120 I could probably squeeze one more MCR220 but it would be tight

heh..

lemme remind you how large your rads can get...

then you should rethink about your case..

I had to upgrade cooling for my i7, because well, im cooling a lot more then i normally would.

My radiator package is gonna be upgraded to this:

http://i125.photobucket.com/al...aigomorla/IMG_0119.jpg

http://i125.photobucket.com/al...aigomorla/IMG_0116.jpg

http://i125.photobucket.com/al...aigomorla/IMG_0117.jpg

Ideally your rad should be 1 fan length shorter then mine, (MCR320 x 2)... Overkill would be the same size as mine... Fesser 480

Rethink your case please, 1 fan less means 120mm shorter then what i have displayed.

Rule in thumb in watercooling... There is no magic special case where YOU wont run out of room.

Gillbot and everyone that jumped in didnt believe me when i told them that you can run out of a room even in a U2-UFO.

Get the largest possible case you can think of/afford/like aesthetically. Because you will run out of room even in that case...

Avoid the Tai Chi, its not modern enough for h2oing...

Aigo, I'm almost feeling the need to stack another 3 Thermochill 120.3 on top of mine.... and 2 Iwaki RD-30's.... and run my CPU and chipset off 2, and my GPU's off the other two...

Anyways... you need a case to hold radiators. If you water cool your cards, you don't need a dual-slot bracket anymore. You would just need space under your card. I am repeating myself, but you can either stay with AIR on your cases, or look elsewhere. I have an Antec P182 and I had to cut the top off to mount the PA120.3 And the MCR220 is hanging off the back. The only time you won't run out of room is if you have MM build you a custom case for like $800+.

I guess it would be fair to say i7 would be best suited for a rack when water cooling eh......

i really dont think anyone needs a RD-30.

In fact im trying to get rid of mine and drop it inside a custom chiller.

Your better off pairing 2 ddc's.

Since this all goes inside a case, and we dont live in a perfect world where everyone has a mountain mods accession.... The DDC's will save you a TON of foot print.

As for the radiator, look at martin's liquid lab reviews on the rad. Esimate your heat load, and compare his graphs with your fans cfm.

Ideally u want a water delta no higher then 5-7C on load, and 1-2C on idle on any of your loops.

See, as soon as Intel went to a true monolithic 4 cores instead of the 2x2 things lets just say, started to heat up. Funny when I read the TDP of the i7's my first thought was of the AMD monolithic design running almost the exact same TDP's... anyways, lets save this for another thread

If any of you guys are having difficulty reading martin's graphs, i can show you how to use them effectively.

@Aigo. Are cooling everything (CPU, NB, SB & GPU) off the one loop?

Aigo. Where did you get those blocks for your P6T? I would love a set of those.

Also, he wouldn't be cooling his house. He'll be heating it. :p

i never recomend a single loop.

Always keep your cpu off everything else has always been my motto.

:p

Those are my custom milled set.

But a lot of requests came in, so i introduced my custom builder to Jab-Tech, and SideWinderComputers and they bought a few sets as well, so they should carry the blocks next week.

When it comes to h2o, what else did you guys honestly expect? :p

Well, looks like I'll have to troll Jab-tech and Sidewindercomputers MORE than usual, hopefully picking up a set. :p

I did not expect anything less out of you, Aigo. Nothing less.
