i have a creative sb audigy platinum ex but i'm not very satisfied with it ,i'm looking for a good sound card in the 150$-400$ i.

I have the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz and it's been pretty good for me. The reviews are good as well. This sound card supports up to 6 speakers with 5.1 capabilities, and goes for about $60-$80. Hope this helps.

Look into the Phillips Acoustic Edge, I got it after I wasn't happy with a SB Live card (there was a period where I reverted to my AWE64) and am thrilled with it.

i recommend the Phillips Acoustic Edge, nice performance and clear sound.

some kinda slow when playing games, but i think it's a driver issue.
