You can get a Toshiba Satellite M40 w/ 15.4 WXGA (1280x800) and GF 6600 (64 or 128MB)

I had the machine for almost 4 months (till 2 weeks ago when I got the 17" M60) with a PM 730, 1GB, 40GB, GF 6600 w/128MB, 15.4 TrueBrite and the machine did quite well under BF2 and HL 2. Plus at ~6.3lbs it was quite bearable. You can customize all the options on the link above and see what it comes out to.

What's the big ISSUE here , raise that resolution to 1280*1024 for the desktop, increase icon size in the display settings, increase font size and if you have to increase start bar size and done . Enjoy your high resoution like God intended you to. :beer:

Looks pretty good, I'll definitely have to consider this one.
