I think there was a post about this not too long ago, but I couldn't find it. :/

I recently moved out to the DC area and I spend most of my weekends on foot seeing what's around, etc. I'm trying to find a messenger-style bag that'll hold my stuff and I wondered if you guys and gals had any suggestions?

Usually I have my 15" laptop, cell, iPod, a couple notebooks, a book, and a few other small misc things.

The Ogio Hip Hop caught my eye and it looks quite nice. Anybody have any experience with this bag or can you recommend a similar/better bag?

Thanks!

I am happy with my booq bag. It was a bit pricey but well worth it to protect my lappy.

Timbuk2

I used to sell Timbuk2 at the m/c shop where I worked. There were only a few products that I personally stood behind and wouldn't hesitate to sell to any of my friends, and they included Timbuk2 bags. Arai helmets, Vanson leathers, and PitBull stands were some of the others.

I had one of their bags a while ago. It was a great bag! I might have to go with another.

Any other ideas?

Yeah! Definitely nice-looking bags and they appear to be pretty rugged, but I'm not in the mood to shell out $200.

I love my Victorinox shoulder purse with torque weight system.

Fixed it for ya Little Dave! ;)

I wish there was a "warn" feature on ATOT like there is on AIM.

 Lighten up man, I'm just messing with you. It's been a while. ;)

Edit-I've got nothing against messenger bags.

Didn't realize people took me so seriously on these forums. I didn't know I commanded such respect. :D

Gonna go attempt to find a bag today. Any other suggestions for messenger bags? I might even consider a backpack if anybody has ideas on those as well!

How do you get all your Magic the Gathering cards to fit in one bag?

Watch yourself; you play with fire and you will get burned.

My $30 one from Eddie Bauer has been great, it's been through one use of high school, one night underwater (when I drove my car in a ditch full of water), Bonnaroo, various places in the US (St. Louis, DC, Florida) and it still looks like it did the day I bought it. Good stuff
