Yes it is online only but can be returned to store if you don't like. Lot of places online have lower price than costco but non can match their return policy.

Hell yeah, the guys at avsforum love this thing. It is currently the best PJ for this price range.

However, there are new DLP PJ's that do 720 coming out very soon or perhaps are already on the market now for around the same price. They are too new for reviews though.

That's a pretty nice one. Excellent bang for the buck considering the resolution. However I heard some of these have problems with vertical banding (luck of the draw really).

Try looking at a golf match or baseball game and check out the grass for a good test of this and do it before your excange period expires.

Anyway, Nice PJ!. Excellent Contrast levels for an LCD.

Now all you need is a Stewart Greyhawk to bring out those black levels that thing is capable of. I wouldn't recommend pushing it past 110" though.

I jumped on this without looking at any real demo. How much is that screen?

Either way you will probably want a high contrast screen (less than 1.0 gain) for that type of projector. But really its a matter of personal preference. Find a place where you can test drive a few screens vs. taking my word for it.

You won't notice much SDE (if any at all) at 1280 x 720 native resolution, just be sure to position your seating >1.5x your screen width back from the picture.

You'll want to match your PJ's native resolution (16 x 9) and I'm not sure how that screen is measured. Of course that type of setup is adjustable. Also check and see if that screen is high-contrast or not.

I'm a fan of a fixed-frame screen simply because those screens which are suspended can sway back and forth with not much of a breeze at all (your air conditioner is probably enough) which can be distracting to you (the viewer).

If you're really on a tight budget, there are several DIY solutions which work well in a pinch until you can afford something better and most can be built for anywhere from $50.00 and up.

Do a little research on Google, Ebay, and AVS Forums and you'll see what I mean.

Well not really tight budget but this is going in a family room and screen will be positioned above the Mantle. Power screen will let the wife do her thing(interior design) without forcing me to spend 3k on power screen.

That screen is 16:9 format. I called and asked. The woman wasn't sure about the material of the screen though.
