I guess you have no use for those servers now....:)

If you give them to me I'll even pay shipping or go get them myself:D

So should the person who accepted the shipment.

If that came to my door, I'd look at the delivery guy and say, "Nuh uh. Take it back. No way I'm signing for that."

Haha! That's what I'm talkin' about! :) Did she come in the box with the servers too? If so, then you shouldn't be complaining!!! ;)

that sucks, did UPS ship them? i once sold a $1000+ mountain bike on ebay, had a bike company professionally pack it for me, then the f@cking UPS guy drove over it, literally. $1000 bike w/ $900 damage....

LMAO...pics?

it was a couple years ago so all was settled with UPS insurance. the cranks were bent like pretzels, the the carbon fiber handlebars were shattered, the disc brake rotor looked like a taco shell. it was bad, but the frame was still pretty straight. tough bike. :)

i'll pay shipping for the blue t rack model #34D, and i will pay insurance, too, so get it ready, UPS will be at your door in 30 minutes :D

Nothing a little bondo won't fix right up:)

I used to pack these things for awhile and if my manager saw that he would drop dead on the spot.

I tried that once, they just dropped it off at my door the next day and considered it delivered.

it just about was. On a side note, these servers were already built/configed and ready to put in production. All I had to do was add a static IP. If this new product is not up and running by the first of the year heads are going to roll and will proably mean more layoffs. this kind of crap pisses me off.

What are these old 2450's?
Did you buy them new from DELL and them send them to a third party?
What are you putting on them that you wouldnt or couldnt do yourself?

All my servers come straight to me from Dell, and I build them all...and that is hundreds of them....
Just curious.

10k for those? Not that much!

no i did not buy them. A company developing a new product for us shipped them to us from california for me to put in production so they can move on the next phase of the development plan. I do not own them, but they are going into my environment.

I guess it depends what's inside them, but for multiple cpus, lots of memory and a raid-5 setup, you're looking at $10k easy. That's about how much the 2550s we bought a few years ago were.
