Look at this McDondald's game piece auction!!!

Without even knowing the Monopoly's pieces, it's clearly a scam.

If it was the winning piece, then the seller would go get his reward. Unless he's so impatient that he hopes to sell it for 100k+ and is too impatient to have Mcdonald's pay it out over 20 years or whatever they do now.

He says nothing of it being the official boardwalk piece from the monopoly game whatsoever. its obviously not the real thing. he didnt even take a pic of the entire thing.

all he's selling you is what is in that picture.

I'd ask the seller for a better picture of the Boardwalk piece, to be sure it's not from last year's game.
 
It doesn't even look like the current pieces. They blue stripe on top should not cover the entire card and there should be blue text running through it, like on the Best Buy piece.
 
I was going to say it's probably form last year... but the title of the page says:

2005 McDonalds Monopoly Game BOARDWALK....

I'm sure it's a scan but don't know what he'd try to say to get away with it.

If it's not real then it's not a 2005 McDonalds Monopoly boardwalk piece since both those terms are copyrighted. I best McDonalds and Best BUy could sue the pants off this idiot.

dude i've seen so many titles that will be like

"CHEAP NO NAME BRAND 1W DRIVER GOLF CLUB NEW $10!! NIKE"

and the golf club has nothing to do with nike when you click on the title. it wll be some cheap no name brand 1w driver golf club as stated in the topic, just not nike brand. it is a tactic thats been done for ever. thats why you get exactly what is in the description of the auction, the $3 BB and the "boardwalk".
 
the reason he title the way, he just selling the real $3 bb buck, then put the word BOARDWALK to there too. the bb buck is 2005 game piece, so he's tricking ppl thing he selling real boardwalk piece but he isn't/
 
They are all retracting their bids, saying that they can't contact seller etc.

One guy actually bid $300,000 before retracting.

Oh no, it's real... look at it. He's cut the piece from the game board that McDonalds is giving away. There's no background text like the real game pieces have. Real game pieces also don't have the color bar across the whole top (fully bleed), but a little rectangle of color surrounded by a black border. The seller never says it's a "game piece" just that its boardwalk, and it is. These idiot buyers are assuming it's the game piece. The scumbag needs to be terminated.

It's not fake. It;s just not a "game piece". It's a section of the gameboard that they hand out for free. But I do agree on the "dumbass ppl" part.
