Longhorn Display Engine

right click desktop, click appearance on top of page, select wondows and buttons

(i think this is the way, becuase its how i changed mine to XP Media Center Style. Not 100% sure on this one cuz it might b different/buggy)

I've burned the ISO and installed the Technology Preview, but I can't figure out how to enable any of the Avalon eye candy, either. Anyone know how to get it going? I've checked all the usual Control Panels and MMC Panels and haven't seen anything that enables Avalon.

Can someone who has the MCE 2005 skin PM me so I can get it from them? I have the older MCE skin and I'd like to get the new one, too. Thanks. 🙂

Patience is a virtue. Remember that.

True, but not in a way where when XP is done catching up, OS X will still be 5 years ahead of where they were.

Terumo, that looks a lot like Royale, the theme M$ released for a previous incarnation of MCE. Is there any difference between this and Royale that you noticed?

Oh and I'm probably going to bypass the Longhorn preview, I just got the latest build of x64 to install and play with yesterday. That'll keep me busy for a while. 🙂

It's off the 2005 Media Edition CD, but my relative got it early since his shop is a Microsoft OEM distributator. His boss didn't need it, he got it and build his media pc with it (crap he gets all those freebies. Intel processors, boards and even has a Windows 2003 Server license pack just going to waste) :|

ME WANTS!!
