Videogames = crack!

Favorite game was Battlefiled 1942 (and various mods), and even though I didn't have marathon sessions often, I did play EVERY SINGLE FREAKING DAY!

Longest session, was, hmmmm, say 18 hrs.

Way back in the day of Asheron's Call, when they came out with the patch where golems dropped motes. Oh man, I swore I played from server up time for 24 hours or so, killing me a f$%@ton of golems. Wow, I was obsessed.

Longest with not even piss breaks would be about 8 or 9 hours.
Longest with piss breaks, but no food breaks would be about 12 hours.
Longest with short food or piss breaks but no sleeping about 40 hours.

I used to play a LOT of Duke Nukem 3D with friends in high school lans. We also used to play a lot of Total Annihilation at lans. These lans would go on from friday until Sunday, more then once with no sleep.

Since then I've never spend more than 24 hours straight in front of the PC playing a game. 20-24 hours have since been achieved with the following games Quake 2 DM, HL:TFC, RTCW: ET, and WoW

All night playing WarCraft II on my spanking new Pentium 75 with a 16MB video card 🙂 Since then probably a couple of 6-8 hour LAN sessions with some friends. Oh, or our Tiger Woods 2000 tournament on the PSone that last about 6 hours 🙂

I've done some 16 hour sessions with Civ III, came home from school, sat down, played Civ, and before I knew it, my alarm clock was going off...

Did 11 hours straight on Civ IV this weekend, normally do between 3-4 hours playing SC III...

Now, see, this has all been on Athlon PCs...all the people with the intel's at the LAN's seemed to crash quite a bit...

Peerless Atlan Weapons ftw!

I remember playing some marathon AC sessions around the same time.

16hrs. playing Quake2 back in the day, ahhh the good ole dial up connection. Boy did I get my $ worth out of that old Voodoo2.

Did a 24 hour marathon of Counter-Strike several years ago, back in something like beta 7.1

Edit: if with no breaks, then just over 7 hours playing CS, on the same server, same map, and got just over 1000 kills

ermm.. didnt know there was a CS 7.1 .......

lan party in '02, CS for about 35 hours

'00 Vampire the masquerade played continuously no sleep no shower for 5 days. I only paused the game to eat.

definately at least 10-12 hours at CS:Source.

I remember thinking about the window near my screen, and the reflection was killing me!!!

Dunno specifics... but I once played star wars galaxies wire to wire. Servers go down from like 6am to 7am. I woke up and started playing at 7, and went till 6 the next night.

Then again, I was making money for playing.. so it made it more addictive.

Many 6+ hour starcraft runs
Many 8+ hour EQ runs
Several 12+ hour Eq runs
Some 16 hour EQ runs

CS maybe 4 or 6 hours a few times

heheh... man college was a waste of time 😉
