I keep reading more articles about how brits are outraged that the police haven't been able to keep them safe. So, how's that inability to defend yourself or property working out for you? Remember, the police are there to save you and make you feel safe in your city!

Bullocks!

So when theres riots in the US theres no property damage and no one gets killed?

People here will defend their shit though. Or have you not seen the pictures of Korea Town during the LA riots with store owners on top of their stores brandishing AK47s if anyone came towards their shit?

I stand for equality. Seriously, how can the British people make the youth suffer while they spend millions upon millions on the royal family? How about disbanding the inbreds and just give the youth jobs. Hell, I'd rather make one intelligent and yet unemployed youth the 'king' for a year than some inbred yokel.

Hell, hopefully something like this happens in the US. Not the toppling of a monarchy because the US is far more believing in equality, but the youth rising up. At least the British are admirable in this regard. Americans are probably too busy eating big macs and thus too fat to rise up like this.

Man, I'm part of the youth and I trust the big evil corporations more than I trust the fucking mongoloids you'd call my peers.

Hopefully next year's Olympics will be pulled from London. Or alternatively, UN peacekeeping forces can be brought in to protect the athletes and spectators.

I dunno about you, but the so called "poor disenfranchised people" tend to also be lazy on our side of the pond.

Of course...it seems simple to me...some dude with no prospects see people rioting and taking shit and it all just snowballs..in order for this to snow ball you need a bunch of dudes with no prospects...

that's if they choose to stop. if they don't stop you're either going to have to round them all up or kill them all. both of those things will probably lead to more people having mixed feelings towards the government. sucks because it seems like quite a few of these "rioters" are destroying small business and not really going after the people that they would blame for their problems.

Which recent riots were more pointless?

London riots or Vancouver riots?

It depends on what the London riots get accomplished. The Vancouver riots were definitely very pointless, but that's the Canadian mentality. But the British people are the single most ruthless entity to ever exist in the universe, they are so crazy for bloodlust that it's just crazy. I think that these youth could channel that type of British desire for blood into something useful, like toppling down their monarchy or enacting other social change.

What's this inability to defend yourself you are talking about?

We are heading to another major change in the world. The people are feeling the weight of the chains of corporate oppression, and like the chains of monarchy before them, they are starting to chaff. Everything is happening faster now, soon we will have another round of world revolutions.

Let's just hope it's not another French Revolution.

That'll be key. Forensic investigation of the rioting afterwards. Deal with everyone individually after they disperse. It'll be a great incentive never to do that again if the police handle it properly and have the modern tools available to connect the dots.
