Wow the show might be ending soon, given what happen. And yes dubstep sounds like garbage.

Definitely seems like the episode pretty clearly voiced Trey/Matt's feelings about getting sick of doing South Park/working together this closely. Maybe not, but that's sure what it seemed like.

wait what happened?

Basically the last 5 minutes were
Randy and Sharon telling each other that they don't enjoy each other's company anymore, and that "each week it's the same shit in a slightly different way," that they're tired of it, and they don't want to keep going. Then they sell the house, Randy moves out, Sharon and the kids move in to some new house, Stan is no longer friends with Kyle and Cartman who become better friends, etc. It all happened in like 2 minutes. Sure seemed like it was just Trey and Matt using Sharon and Randy (and to some degree Stan) to voice their frustration with the show.
True or not? We'll see.

Ehh, either way I skipped through most of the last 10 minutes of this episode as it was shit... 😉

Probably the worst episode this season.

I wouldn't be upset in the least if they killed it. It jumped the shark years ago.

It was funny to me since I have a friend that always talks shit about "todays" music and posts old music videos on facebook. The whole ice cream part reminded me of me Loool.

I really got that episode. I started watching South Park when I was about 13. Now I am 18, I just graduated high school, most of my friends are leaving, my mom is moving away, and now South park might be ending. :colbert:

As much as I would hate to see South Park go I'd rather it not continue on and become the joke that is the Simpsons.

Interesting... I haven't watched it yet but I read the spoiler out of curiosity anyway. As of late it definitely seems true.

Indeed. That had better not be the end; it would be so sad to go out on a low note like that.

I would expect the season to at least finish out if nothing more.

OOoooorrrrrrrr.....is it commentary on Arnold Schwarzenegger's fun last week?

I thought the episode was absolutely hilarious. SP can go on for as long as the guys want it to because it's the most effective satire out there. I mean, this episode made fun of a movie that came out a week ago (though they clearly don't need to see the movie to write the script).

Most likely they'll just return everything to normal next week. To be seen, I suppose.

Thought the episode was hilarious because it's true. Given how everything went down it really looks like that could be the end for South Park. If so, I will be shedding tears of unfathomable sadness.

Everything will be back to normal next week I am sure 😀....

If not, it was a good run!

They're done until October, this episode ended the half-season run. Their contract runs out after the season wraps up in the fall, so we'll have to wait and see. If this season has been indicative of the caliber of work we can expect going forward let the show die when the contract ends. South Park has fallen faster and farther than The Simpsons, through seven episodes this year there has not been one worth watching. Trey and Matt are pretty clearly bored and are phoning it in, what's the point in going on?

The episode was spot on....South Park sounds like shit to me these days. Glad that Trey and Matt realize this, kill it before people have bad memories of it.

Or they are just trying to generate buzz to get more people watching again.

I strongly disagree, the butters episode was extremely good.

The others have been meh. I did miss one though and i have to wait a week until it pops on their website again.

Exactly...they had a few good ep's in that 7 though.

I've always liked south park, even at its worst its still worth watching over 99% of everything else.

Kinda interesintg half season finale though, I wonder what will happen in the intro to next half season. I'm almost expecting a "I had the strangest dream" type scenario.
