What should i do, can't get a job without a degree.

Switch to IST/IRT/IT....the stupid computer major.

I resent that :)

But you're totally right ... I was amazed at the moronic scenery all around me.

in terms of being a b!tch for some corporation, yea, EE > CE > CS

I knew a bunch of people who said sh1t like this in my undergrad - they're now all unemployed and wishing they were some corporation's b!tch.

what's your point? what i said still holds, regardless of what your friends ended up.

Point is that unless you start your own successful business straight off, get lucky in acting, or play a sport well enough to be paid for it, you're probably not going to have much of a livelihood unless you allow yourself to be a b!tch for some corporation at some point.

How determine are you?

You could try withdraw, and take couples of semester off working and travel to find what you really want to do in the future before heading back to school.

Look at your options to see what you willing to accomplish and what you really like to do as a career.

Almost anyone could get a degree from university, but believing in what you are doing is the right thing is the hard part.

Also see your school counselor to see what options and what kind of help that are available at your school.

Good luck!

IMO, if you fail at the university, you're just too lazy. Cuz if you would learn hard enough, you wouldn't drop out. Period.

That's what i spent 3 years learning (working my ass off), i just can't give up now.

You goto University of Toronto right?? I heard 3rd year is the hardest there. I'm a 1st year ECe student myself there (as is MartyTheManiak).

So you stayed for the Godiva Crown thing they had today?
