Of course that is more than any person should ever pay for a case, but also consider how much hardware is in it. Heatpipes, radiator fins, copper contacts, the aluminum itself are not cheap to buy or machine correctly. Also the design time and money put into it are probably tremendous.

The case is quite extraordinary, but most obviously not worth it to us.

I have acutally seen a case like that. They are used in music studios to eliminate noise. Pretty nifty.

if i had the money the case would be really awesome to have. pcgamer reviewed a custom system based in that case. they liked it. but im poor and most likely would rather buy a whole system for that price instead

Those heatpipes look rather inflexible. Does the AGP standard require the GPU to be at a specific location on the video card?

i have seen this idea brought up once or twice. minifridges are not made to continuously cool something that is giving off heat. the fridge would likely break/wear out very fast due to the strain it would have to put up w/ to keep a computer cool. and if that happened when you were not around (say in the middle of the night) your whole computer could burn itself up before you could save it.

so set the mobo to shutdown at 55 or 60C
