"But I actually said to my people, 'Find a country where we actually do well.' So far we haven't found that country. It's just losses with everybody. And we're going to turn that around." - Probably still true. This article has a list of figures with no context. When we are 500B in the hole from China, it's hard to see how a mere 1-2B surplus with another country means we are "doing well", you might just argue that that is close enough to call it even. Netherlands is the only outlier.

Now, is a $319.5B DEFICIT a deficit or is it a surplus? Hmm. Tricky question, I know. For calling Trump stupid every other breath, maybe you should work on making sure you don't say something stupid yourself.

Interesting, the man with the weight and resources of the office of the office of POTUS couldn't find one. I'm sure he looked real hard. So if he's not lying, I guess he's just completely incompetent? Of course one shouldn't rule out that he is both.

Do you truly think he sounds like an informed person? Do you truly believe he has anyone but his own interests at heart? What about him gets your motor running? I take a general offense to both the thread title and the content of the OP. The thread title is not a headline or in any way indicative of the content of the article being linked, only a reaction. Then the content, is just the article basically and his opinion of the article without any real argument or further articulation.

How can one have a discussion based on the thread topic and OP? What is being asked? How would you like me to respond? You got the hack knee-jerks to respond, good for you, but I think most of us need a little bit more to get our discussion juices flowing.
