If Gingrich was out, Santorum would have racked up even more delegates so he still needs both of them to split the 60-70% of the Republican electorate that is rejecting him in the deep south. Besides not wanting Gingrinch himself to be POTUS, I REALLY don't want to see his Stepford wife become First Lady. Gives me the willies just thinking about it.

I guess holding out on Santorum to get as much as he can out of some kind of deal is about all the Grinch can hope for now. Personally, I'd like to see him become the Ambassador to some sinking atoll nation out in the middle of the Pacific somewhere.

I agree. Santorum could even be in the lead right now had Gingrich dropped early, and that considering Romney's spending. It doesn't bode well for voter enthusiasm for him come November.

I'll put it this way - I dislike the "far left" much, much more than I dislike the "far right".

Regardless of how I feel on a particular issue, I can usually understand the underlying reasoning coming from "the activist right", while "the activist left" comes across as jackasses.

I'm not someone to harp on a particular hot button issue when it comes to a vote for public office, but I cannot accept anyone who doesn't believe in evolution as a suitable candidate for President. I just can't. It would be degrading to my own psyche. Romney and gingrichich are not so bad in that regard, but Santorum should be taken out in to the streets and beaten imo.
