So he's 24 and still lives with his parents, but he's won like half a million in tournament money. WTF! Anyone else notice he was playing on some ****** 17" crt monitor in his basement. Whats he doing with all that money?

All he dreams about is buying a Ferrari to prove to his parents that gaming instead of college was the better idea. Sounds like his priorities are whacked. He should save every penny because he won't be on top of his game forever.

Saving it?
Seems like the smart thing to do.

If I had a half a mil I would own my own house, not live in my parents basement.

Eh, what is he gonna do if one day he wakes up and sucks at video games? Go back to tech support making $10/hr?

Wow, that interview was horrible. It was totally geared towards 80 year olds who never played a video game in their life, so the explanation of the games themselves was on a kindergarden level.
I was hoping for something more in depth, but I was probably asking too much from 60 minutes.

I was happy that they didn't delve too much into the whole video game violence issue. The interviewer raised it at one point, but they pretty quickly changed the subject after a fairly intelligent answer from Wendell.
It wasn't that great of an interview, but what would you expect?

Met him a few times in real life. Once at a small LAN get together (4-5 of us) at a friend's house, once at a party. He's a tool.

its not so much that i am jealous. its the fact that he thinks he's the sh!t at what he does.
i guess i just don't like people who think they are the sh!t. i like modest people.

Indeed. Remember the target audience for 60 Minutes.. (TBH, I'm really surprised that many ATOTers watch the show)
