Please point out where I ever mentioned I was a technician, lol. Yup I'm a salesman. My tech knowledge is greater than that of most of the customers I serve and more than you lead one to think but yeah it's not great. You of course are nothing but a fool. These are all plain facts.

If I buy a new product I will update the BIOS as soon as I get it usually if it has listed fixes and not just processor compatibility update.

If I've had it for awhile, I wont mess with it unless there are problems. I guess I could see why he did it, if he just purchased it.

Again I wouldn't usually do this for a laptop as they don't usually have backup BIOSes, but I understand doing it on a desktop motherboard.

This. My policy for BIOS flashing has always been "Don't fuck with it if you don't have to."
