I found the $10 coupon but it specifically says not BB, CC, Compusa, Walmart, etc... but for under $40, I am not complaining. Great mouse and good deal.

got in on this deal. bought the MX-700 yesterday for $80 w/$20 MIR. took it back today, along with a sales flyer from OfficeMax showing it on sale for $60. got $22+tax back on the pricematch. once I mail the rebate in, I'll be looking at <$40 net cost for the MX-700. nice deal...

thanks K-squared.

Thanks,
I bought the Logitech, yesterday. Took it back with the Office Max flyer in hand. Credited my AMEX $23.71.

I assume. And hope. I've been waiting on a good best buy deal to use my $130 worth of gift cards. I was hoping for a new HDD, but I didn't see anything that blew me away. I finally spent some of it on a DVD-Audio of Yes' "Fragile", and boy was it worth it. Even on my DVD Video player. But anywho. . .I'm going tonight to get one of these. I finally used one at someone's house and I really like it.

Thanks for the info. Just got mine. Now if I can locate this "Logitech $10 rebate valid through March 31st" that will make my day.

how long do these last before they need to be recharged?

i've been using mine since the new year and have only had to charge 3 or 4 times. the led on it will start blinking red when it needs a charge, but it'll still work for a day after that happens (i haven't used it til it's dead).

word of caution for those who want to hook up a logitech wireless keyboard...you'll need to use another receiver. the receiver on the mx700 only works for the mx700.

also i tried to use it along side the promo logitech keyboard/mouse set they gave away and the mx700 won't work alongside (on another computer) the other mouse on the wireless keyboard/mouse set. i ended up switching the plugging in the microsoft wireless optical blue mouse on the other machine (i love the mx700 too much to not use it).

Go to amazon, they have it but it is no good for purchases from BB.

so the guy threw away my rebate form and rebate receipt.
do you think best buy will reject my rebate form (once they put it up online) if they see that it has already been pmed? i don't really feel like having to wait 2 months to find that out...

got this mouse on the amazon gold box deal, and this thing really kicks ass. gaming is better than with my 2 year old corded mouseman optical. If you want to make an easy $20-30, buy these and resell on eg@y for around $55-$65.

BTW, anyone figure out how one can "hold down" the side, forward/back buttons to use --for example-- as a voicecomm button in counterstrike? my system registers it a a "click" no matter how long i hold it down. ty

Went to Best Buy, but they refused to price match, stating that "since our price after rebate is the same as their (Office Max) price now, we can't price match. Jerks.
I'm done with them. They screwed me royally on their "no lemon extended warranty" & now this. Pi$$ on them!

Read & complain about Best Buy here!

For all those who bought the MX700 at Best Buy get another $10 back by PM to OMax ad on Sun. 3-2-03. The advertised price will be $49.99.(In my location, So Cal YMMV) Best Buy price guarantee states within 30 days, so we are still within the window. (14 days PM restriction is for computers, notebooks, etc... but no mention of mice or computer peripherals)

Uhm, yeah. How dare they want to sell something for the same price as a competitor and not effectively $20 less. Heh.
