Great mouse, but It needs the extra side button that the MX500 and MX518 have. If people don't like it, then disable or or map it's funtion to mirror that of the other side button so that it wont matter which one you hit.

I agree. Abuse it and you will loose it. That is the reason why newegg's return policy has changed over the past two years.

didn't read all the posts, but yes, their customer service is top notch. broke a connector on my z-5500 subwoofer. They made me send in the control unit and remote and then sent me a whole new set. unbelieveable.

i love logitech customer support. Microsoft's hardware has just as good customer support as well. I bought a MS natural elite kb but none of the numpad buttons worked so they shipped out to me a new one :)

i hope my G5 mouse, my Z5500 speakers, and my other logitech controllers start acting up too. then again they probably make you return the item to make sure you're not committing fraud, but anytime you get new products for replacement is good

It's even better when you have access to their employee purchase site. most stuff is half retail price.

My logitech at home is going crazy. I think the scroll wheel is busted. It auto-scrolls whenever it feels like it, so playing CS was kind of wierd cuz my weapons would randomly change. Is this a driver issue? Or am I in for a free rev? :D

When my Z680s went bad, all they needed me to ship back was the control pod. They sent me new Z5500s. I sold the non-functioning Z680 speakers on eBay. When my MX1000 wouldn't hold a charge anymore, they sent me a MX Revolution. Didn't need to send the MX1000 back. Anyone know how to replace a dead battery in a MX1000?
