Anybody know if it's safe to pull the screws out of the back and remove these goddamn fvcking pellets before they drive me fvcking nuts?
It's got to be at least as safe as cutting up shotgun shells with a knife, and you don't seem to have a problem with doing that.

if you have to ask if its 'safe' to open up a keyboard, maybe you shouldnt be using a keyboard, all those numbers and letters, etc...
I've never opened a keyboard before. I don't know how much of a pain in the ass it is to get it back together, you moron. I don't know if the keys just clip back in place or if once they're broken off, they're broken off for good. Jesus Christ just because I don't fvcking rip apart every piece of computer equipment I've ever had my hands on to see how it works doesn't mean I'm any less qualified to use it than the next guy. Fvck off. :|![]()
wow kid, calm down
You can go away now, mkay?
ugh, no wonder so many dislike you on this board

Yeah. My keyboard is due a good cleaning after my last drinking session. Damn keys stick now that they're full of sugary sludge.

I've never seen the wad fail to exit a shotgun barrel, and I've fired roughly two boxes worth of blanks. I have, however, met the widow of a guy who killed himself with a blank shell from a shotgun. Thought it would be a great april fool's day prank to fake his suicide. Wrote a note for his wife to find, and wrote something like "haha, gotcha!" on the back. His wife entered the house, read the note, hurried to the bedroom, opened the door, and he pulled the trigger. The wad went right on through his temple, into his brain. Personally, I dont think she lost much, but thats just my opinion. Darwin sprinkling just a little chlorine in the gene pool is a good thing.
Even without a wad I wouldnt want a shotgun fired at me. Unburned powder + hot gas doesnt sound like much fun. With a wad, well, it exits the muzzle at roughly the same FPS as the shot does. And while it is wider, less dense, and consequently slows down faster, it'd leave a hell of a bruise at a couple feet's range.
2) A shotgun shell outside of the gun isnt all that dangerous.

Oh yeah...
that makes sense....

try putting it in your pocket with your keys. Don't move around too much. You wouldn't want anything hitting the primer![]()

It would be perfectly safe. I'll gladly carry rounds of anything you want in my pocket with my keys.

How much pressure is necessary to cause the round to fire?

Well, powder charge and distance are big factors. A hot load would get the wad movin pretty good, but only for the first few feet. After that, a paintball gun has more downrange energy then a wad from a shotgun.
*heh* And no WAY I'd put ANY loaded gun to my body, be it a shotless scattergun round, a blank or a fired round. Guns and bodies dont mix, so dont mix them![]()
