Like a worse bestbuy. Nothing like microcenter. I have(had?) one near me. I was in it once.So it's like a Best Buy or Microcenter that never took off
I hadn't either until I moved to Indiana. Went in there once and won't be back. It had all of the tell tale signs of a shitty electronics store about to close... Felt exactly like the last days of circuit city in thereNever heard of them
I went there once to pickup Weber Genesis S-330 grill I purchased on their website for super low price. The place reminded me of Circuit City. That was my only visit to their store or the website.
This is the year of the retail B&M store closings. The Limited is closing all their stores and the Payless Shoes is closing 400 stores as well.
They filed for bankruptcy a month ago and announced they'd be shutting down 40% of their stores.

Lousy service, lousy prices, bait and switch tactics, poorly trained sales peeps, what could have gone wrong?
I bought my plasma TV from the one here in Manassas but I really don't see how they stayed open as long as they did. The place was always empty when I went in.
I have to think these were appliance and maybe furniture stores originally, as they got their start in the 1950s. Electronics came much later, so comparisons with Best Buy or Circuit City aren't really apples to apples. I haven't been in one in years, so maybe that's changed recently.
