I really see your point, but you should understand that the place is very highly regarded, and is the sort of establishment where you'll find doctors/lawyers/bankers, etc. There's a very strict dress code at the weekend; the restaurant is really high quality, and in the evenings/weekends, it's a really decent place to go. The shocker is that beyond maybe 11 on a weeknight, it suddenly becomes really seedy- the sort of place I'd not want to go at all.
Yes, I'm just going to avoid it in the future, but what if the CEO of the company I work for wants to go for a drink there one night, which is entirely plausible.

im calling shens but in case thats its not ..it would be a good idea for you to rent the first few seasons of the sopranos...pay particular attention to what happens to anyone that they think will interfere with the flow of money into their pockets....

see if you can work something out with the boss, otherwise call an anonymous tip into the police, preferably national/regional police vice unit and not your local PD.
 
This story sounds pretty bizarre...
A) the forum post made it's way to the bouncer who recognized you??
B) you didn't complain about the comment about your g/f, but are willing to complain because you were kicked out?

Isn't the probability of two independent events the product of their individual probabilities? I'm giving (A) a probability of 1/100,000. (B) a probability of 1/100.

So, I suppose there's a 1 in 10 million chance that this is true.
 
This is not uncommon. Other places is a massage parlor, in some cases its a tea house/coffee house. or a bar/club. If you like to drink there you should have kept everything to yourself because what you did was not a major discovery....you just ratted out the bar. If you go to the authorities I am almost certain they will just pay someone off and aftewards they will come after you.
