True, but I'm not trying to deny what I said, and when speaking to the bouncer last night, informed him that that I reported what I saw. There's absolutely no reason why I shouldn't (apart from obvious barring)

See, I would move on, but I live in a fairly small town, and the place is popular for corporate events, which I'll be sure to be invited to in the future. For this reason, the barring is inconvenient. It's also a quite tight community, and organised prostitution is completely unheard of. Crime rates are super-low (I know people who leave their cars unlocked, with the keys in the ignition outside their houses).

I'll call the manager tomorrow.

So why would the community as a whole not be upset about this? Other than the obvious fact that they wouldn't be selling these services if there wasn't a market...

I missed the part where you decide it's not your responsibility to report it to the police. Doesn't it sort of make you an accomplice in some situations if you knowingly ignore something like this?

Would you rather deal with a court case, or with some 6'3 300lb guys named Josef, Ivan, and Vlad.

First they know who you are, unless you have some angel sitting on your shoulder, don't get involved. It is obviously some kind of organized business, and you could find yourself on the wrong side of some heavy ******.

I wish you good luck then my friend. And for your sake, let's hope you're not getting into more than you bargained for.

I'm not saying don't do the right thing; just be very careful where you step.

Oh I see.

Maybe just go talk to an officer at the police station and inform him of what you did observe, without accusing them of anything in particular.

lol so let me get this straight ...

1. you find out a club you frequent is a prostitution ring.
2. the prostitues in there eye your girl up and down like they are going to kick her ass.
3. as you leave, the bouncer calls your girl a whore.

and then you go back to the place? you know, since you are such an idiot as it's been shown, why don't you just go back for a 3rd time and try to take on the bouncer in a fight?

Step 1) buy high end video equipment
Step 2) Film rich people with whores
Step 3) blackmail.

I'd like to know if his local paper has an online version, that way we can keep checking the obituaries for his name. Maybe keep up on missing persons reports too.

I also think its a bad idea to mess with people that are involved in any kind of organized crime. Maybe you can file a complain with the BBB!

"yes officer I saw an older gentleman go into a club and leave with a girl. And there were other girls there looking at my girl with a look of discontent. Its gotta be a prostitution ring I just know it! I even brought it up in an online forum and others agreed with me then I was banned from the bar."

All jokes aside, this *may* be more serious than you think...

Since the girls are East-European, and they don't even speak English, you *might* have stumbled upon a case of Human Trafficking. This is organized crime and many agencies with imposing acronyms may get interested in it. Do not call the police. Call the FBI.

I really see your point, but you should understand that the place is very highly regarded, and is the sort of establishment where you'll find doctors/lawyers/bankers, etc. There's a very strict dress code at the weekend; the restaurant is really high quality, and in the evenings/weekends, it's a really decent place to go. The shocker is that beyond maybe 11 on a weeknight, it suddenly becomes really seedy- the sort of place I'd not want to go at all.
Yes, I'm just going to avoid it in the future, but what if the CEO of the company I work for wants to go for a drink there one night, which is entirely plausible.

I would post about it on yet another internet forum in the hopes that they would find it and further confirm my identity. ;)
I've not said a single lie nor exaggerated. If they are ashamed of what goes on in there then they should sort it. If you have a good or bad meal some place, you tell people, this is the same thing... only with prostitutes.

Execpt you would have to have the meal first... :p

Here's my two cents...take it or leave it.

The second after you realized there were hookers working there, you should've paid your bill and left instead of eating/drinking/ogling/whooping it up.

You let the cat out of the bag about the place and then you were STOOOOPID enough to go back there? You either:

a. Carry an MP5 under your coat
b. Have huge balls of steel
c. Have the IQ of a houseplant

You're lucky they didn't take you and your GF out back and shoot you both. Any club with hookers also sells drugs and is a "protected establishment." Half the guys in there are mobsters of some kind...the rest are cops getting laid.

You're an idiot if you ever even walk by there again.

You tell your boss that you have reason to believe they are selling illegal services and that you don't patronize such establishments that work to undermine the very fabric of our society.

Or just say 'I don't like that place'.
