My TV.

Its uniform :)

Seems a little splotchy but hard to tell in photos. Plus don't know what the backlight is at. I'll try to take a pic of mine in a dark room with the backlight cranked.

Ah, this one the same issues (albeit less clouding but more severe flashlighting, which really sucks during movies or letterboxed tv), + some stuck pixels, and i havent checked for dead pixels.

Sounds like i will return this one, dont know if its worth trying again for another.

That's at 4/10. It's more noticeable in the picture than it is in person, but yeah it just goes to show you that most TVs aren't perfect. It doesn't bother me at all either. The only thing that bothers me are the two stuck pixels!

Yeah, is there a way to get rid of those? Out of curiosity. I hear theres a disc with certain flashing images that helps some people.

I've tried everything with no luck. You can try rubbing them with a damp cloth. I doubt you will be able to get rid of them though.

You can also try one of those programs that flashes red, green, blue, white for hours in a loop. Supposedly it can fix stuck pixels but I don't know about that.

Yeah, they don't work either. Left it on for several hours. Didn't do anything except give me a headache from the flashing. Make sure you are away from the TV when you do it. Oh and make sure you don't have epilepsy.

Amazon told me that since I had the same defects as the first one (only worse) that they wont give me a replacement but will instead come pick up the TV and give me a full refund. I am happy about this, it will give me some time to find a TV with no screen uniformity and/or other issues.

You people are great, and were really helpful the entire time--even when i was being a pain in the butt.

Thanks everyone, wish me luck on my quest.

Any prospects for some nice TVs by the end of this summer?
