Lmao...my spending pie chart since I've owned a checking account

I cried when I read my end of the year statement from Discover. I pay it off each month so it was hard to imagine that somehow I charged 30k in a year on one card.

I'm glad it's so readable.
It's not for you?

Well.. there's so many shades of colors that it's hard to tell which color is which color.. there's like a bunch of shades of blues.. and the slices of the pie are really small, can't distinguish which color is which.

I notice that you have "Prom" and "tuition" listed. From tuition I assume you're going to college, from "prom" I assume youre picking up on underage chicks. Good for you!! 🙂

Oh, for those of you confused, the biggest category is the top of the list, and it goes clockwise from there. So it's easy to compare the two biggest ones that I'm referring to.

he probably mispelled pron which actually mean porn.... its a common way for guys to hide their porn stash on the computers under a folder labeled pron 😛

Do you live in the dorms on a meal plan? If not, what do you eat?

Also, are you letting Money auto-pick categories? You need to go in and mop up all the "Leisure - unassigned" stuff so the chart makes more sense.

It is if you sometimes wonder where all the money went. It is very useful when trying to determine the true cost of something. For example the total O&M cost for one of our cars is 24 cents/mile (gas, insurance, maintenance, registration, everything). Knowing this reminds of us to plan trips wisely. I can figure out how much it costs to eat lunch out alot and then decide if it is worth it.

I don't have a pie for finances ,but I have one for bandwidth. Something like 1/4 games, 3/4 porn.

"I have a pie for bandwidth."

You should try throwing that out at a party sometime just to see the response.

You've overestimated your costs. The insurance and registration are fixed expenses, not variable. If you drive the car 10 miles in a year or 10,000 you are still paying the same for insurance and registration. The only parts you should be using to calculate a per mile cost for your car are gas, maintenance, and if you wanted to get really, really nitpicky, some kind of pro ratia amount from the number of speeding tickets you usually get.
