Living alone in apartment

I did the roommate thing for 4 years (3 different places and roommates) and then lived on my own for 1 year (which I loved) before my now wife moved in with me.

I lived alone for about a year and hated it. You end up having conversations with yourself while taking a dump. Now I have a wife and kid and will never do so again.

Eat, sleep, game, etc. whenever you feel like it without bothering roomies
Bring girls over without bothering roomies

Cons:
More expensive
Can be lonely

This was my experience when I lived alone. It's almost worth doing just for the girls issue alone.
