Little sis distracts you from video games? Kill her.

A few years ago a 15yo boy here shot his 14yo sister dead because he wanted to use the phone she was using.

A question, I've never heard of baby shaking until recently.

Why do people shake babies? If you want the baby to STFU, I would think of duct taping his mouth or something. Shaking is not the sensible thing that comes to mind.

Also how does shaking a baby kill it? Neural damage?

not even reading it. all i said was "jesus christ" and posted this post.

people are disgusting.

Jesus Christ Wingznut - a 13 year old is perfectly capable of watching a 9 month old - particularly a sibling he has presumably been around since birth.

Maybe his parents were working. Maybe they were out in the yard. Maybe the were F'ing. Maybe both parents don't live in the same house.

Who gives a shit? It has NOTHING to do with what happened here. Take your holier-than-though BS elsewhere.

I cringe whenever I see one of those undercover nanny cams on a news show catching somebody just thrashing a kid. They carry it around upside-down while they hold it by the ankle, etc.

I agree, but am going to add "some" people are disgusting.

if the kid played video games and died in them, and killed in them, then he is somewhat capable of understanding real death to have understood enough of what he did to his sister.

Anyone here who thinks he is a child and did not understand what he was doing is just plain funny in the head! I do agree that parents are partly to blame as to leave a9 month old with an irresponsible brat.

Some humans are truly disgusting!

No way that's first degree murder.

Obviously no pre-meditation here, and I very much doubt he even intended to kill her. Plus this is no adult, just a 13-year old kid.

Sounds like a frustated teenager who didn't know what he was doing, and tragic accidental death. Maybe you charge him with manslaughter, but certainly no more than that.

Clearly that 13 year old was not capable and the parents should had known but then again a average 13 year old won't be capable of raising a child alone.

The fact that the mom admitted not being around when the kid got hurt then and a few days earlier and the kid had a skull fracture sounds like the parents weren't around at all.

On a side note I wonder what game he was playing.

I came in to post exactly this...

He's being held without bond and being treated as an adult in this case.

I was going to get pissed until I read

On Tuesday, August 16, police were called to Deaconess Hospital to investigate a suspected case of child abuse. Doctors told officers the 9-month-old had serious injuries that did not match the explanation the girl's parents had given. The child had a severe brain injury and skull fracture.

Sounds like the shaking excuse might have been BS.

This.

I came in to say "that'll teach her" but can you really teach a 9 month old anything?

Maybe that's what happened, he was teaching the 9 mo. old how to head bang and things got out of hand.

Prolly shouldve just taught her how to dougie or do the stanky leg instead. That way if you do it wrong, you still live.
