Around $90 shipped (+tax for some), but still a very good OEM CDRW drive for this price. This probably won't last after an "anandtech affect."

Dont forget the free Tshirts (on the front page)
Shipping isnt much more when you add the shirts. I added the free bags, and shipping jumped way up, so I didnt get them.

I'm willing to spend $13.37 more (delivered to Seattle) at Newegg. The resellerratings don't look so hot (are they (rr) ever going to be updated?).

What I think you have to do with Next.....is call the watts line if you have more than one Item.
If you don't it treats everything as single items and charges you extra on the shipping. Spend the extra $2 and get the retail, better package.

You guys know if you go to Pricewatch there are actually about 5 or 6 e-tailers offering it at this price and 1 who has it for $74. The only problem for me is shipping is high and there all in CA and I'm in TN. I'm still waiting for NewEgg to drop there price to compete with these people.

Or look here:

Linky

For the price of 1 of these you can get 2 12x burners from OM, then you'll actually be burning twice as fast

Unfortunately, OM has them backordered almost everywhere. They're supposed to deliver 2 on December 5. We'll see, as they're discontinued.

Watch this shop! There was a thread a few months ago covering them and these guys sounded like a scam. I called them myself and they couldn't give me straight answers.

[edit]
They have a 4.5 rating on resellerratings.com with PLENTY of problems. And thats with the padded ratings that they've done.

An obvious padding example:
No hassle whatsoever. This company was excellent. You can order from them and not even worry about if they are going to mess it up. It arrived on time, it was great. They are making the industry a better place to shop, keep up the good work. Oh yeah, and the prices were amazing.

The industry "a better place to shop"???? stench!

The creator of sysopt and resellerratings was bought out and has made a new site called techimo.com. He(Scott) was the only one who kept resellerratings updated so now it's pretty much toast. Last I heard though he is working on a new retailer ratings at his new site.

This is probably out of context but some of this ratings are not to be trusted. For example, I posted a negative review on PriceGrabble.com about a merchant who ships defective open box items but the comments never got in for people to see. There weren't any bad integrity content and yet PriceGrabble.com refuses to post it. I suspect the site's intent is not totally for the consumer interest.

I just called this place... I must of talked to the owner because he was very on top of what the current prices are on this drive. Nice guy, seemed very aimed to please. I'm gonna hold off though.

He made a good point that his shipping costs a few bucks less then the other vendors on Pricewatch who may be charging $73 or $74 for the drive, their basic ground shipping is $15 or more.

Why not buy the refurb at newegg for $65 shipped? That's what I'm going to do as soon as they are in stock again.

Good thing I jumped on the OM deal. When I ordered it, it was backordered, but I got the drive just an hour ago! :)

I bought the $87.00 shipped retail package from newegg yesterday. Why would you mess with refurb., OEM or any vendor but newegg for that price?
