If I go to P&N, it's because I WANT to hear what people are saying. If I go to a TOOL show or buy an APC album it's because I want to hear Maynard sing, not talk politics. Does he have some kind of political experience that I don't have, or is he just such a genius that his politics bear listening to? In a nutshell: SHUT UP AND SING. That goes for actors too. He's not just saying go and vote for anyone, make your own decision, he's making a video poking fun at Bush. Here's what I don't like. Hello? If he just sang about it I wouldn't say anything. Sure, I may not agree, but music is music. But he's not just singing, he's writing letters on his site, and telling people how to vote and making videos poking fun at Bush. Please tell me you see the large, fundamental difference.
