I'd ask you to marry me if I wasn't already married. ;)

I don't know about rating albums for perfection, as music and the enjoyment thereof is so subjective. However, what I can say for Garbage's albums is that they are all end with a downbeat song that tends to linger (especially "You Look So Fine" on V 2.0). It stays with me emotionally long after it's over, and I think that's a great thing for any album to do.

I'm sorry we can no longer be friends. We can still do naughty things together, but we can no longer be friends.

Are you kidding me? That album is sheer brilliance.

Does this mean I have to remove your picture from my bedside table?

KT

but yeah, it had like 2 good tracks on it the rest was WTF.

You're nuts. :)

I agree, DitC is one of my top favorites of all time...

that dog - Retreat From the Sun
Tom Petty - Wildflowers
Cake - Prolonging the Magic
Bad Religion - Stranger than Fiction
Stone Temple Pilots - Core

It's a good album, and a great resurgence after that stinker Recipe for Hate, but there are two really crappy songs that sort of spoil it for me, Infected and Slumber, yuck.

I don't think there are perfect albums out there.

You said you were leaving. And you didn't leave.

I think they fit well within the bounds of the album. Either way, two tracks out of 15 is near-perfect, yes? :p

I suppose, but I would expect a maximum of one pseudo-clunker on a near-perfect album, all of the rest should be winners.

Yeah I haven't listened to Recipe of Hate much. Only song that sounds out for me that I can think of is "American Jesus".

I don't like "Infected" either... I don't know why it's one of their more popular songs, meh. "Stranger Than Fiction" or "Incomplete" ftmfw.

I'm partial to Kerosene. All Good Soldiers was close, but the chorus doesn't jive with the rest of the song musically.
