BF2 and UT3.

I stopped playing UT3 when my disc got damaged by someone who didn't handle it right.

Man the time i put into that game i am still looking for a replacement.

BF2 while not that good online i made for it offline running people over was fun i can remember alot of 3am duels between the bots and my 4 wheels of fury.

So much fun .

Unreal Tournament 3 is from 2007, Battlefield 2 is from 2005. None of these are nostalgic unless you're 12.

Oh man, I played some games to death when I was younger. Zoo Tycoon was an absolute blast, me and my sister played this for years and years, never got bored of the incredible freedom you have in your creations. Was a bit sad when Zoo Tycoon 2 came out and.. it was basically pretty bad. Childish graphics and overall style, just didn't appeal to me.

A few other honorable mentions I grew up with:
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
Sid Meier's Sim Golf
Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds

FF8 in love with Rinoa

But Tifa comes close 2nd..

Now imagine FF7 with those Gfx.. which is doable..

you could post your mechwarrior novel I'm sure people on the internet would like it.

I actually did, ages ago. My vision for the story changed significantly since then so it needs a serious rewrite.

A FF7 remake is one of two things that would actually get me to buy a PS3, the other bringing back PS2 compatibility (even in software).

lulz i actually camped in front of my computer and fought with a broken shopping cart page for 5 hours b4 the order went though so i could get the ps3.

That stupid demo made us all believe FF7 was in the middle of a remake and was almost done....

Then stupid square says PSYCHE!

Well lucky for me i got to resell the PS3 for 300% markup during Xmas.

But yes... i would do almost anything to secure a PS3 or even PS4 if ff7 was remade...

Instead of remake of FF7, i'd rather see similar set within that world. But i really couldnt stand to replay FF7 again, even if they updated the graphics. maybe if it was 3d i'd look into it.

i don't think a game as to be old to feel nostalgia.

Earthbound.

Also, Utopia for the snes, that game really got me into the RTS genre.

Edit - oops, pc game. I'd have to go with Doom, Warcraft II, Starcraft, and this badass DOS civil war strategy game, I've been trying to remember the name of that game for years but I just can't remember it.

Oregon Trail- spent hours in the computer labs at school playing this when it came out was a easy way for the teachers to get rid of us for a day.
Homm2- spent two years playing this with my friend day in day out against eachother but he usually won
Secret Agent Man- justoverall a fun game
Commander Keen 4- spent hours with my friend playing this finally beat it after a summer wasted
Another one i thought of is a game from early 90's where u had a jet pack and had to fly around and collect things was real funand could creat your own levels.
starcraft- was the first game i played in a korean internet cafe my good friend brought me there and i was the only one speaking english the whole time but was also the one beating the hell out of everybody every game lol

nah its not it may just be called jet pack but was really cool at least for a young person to be able to create his ownlevels with with obstacles and stuff was pretty fun at the time

24 actually and i took up pc gaming and computers as a hobby back in 2006 before that i was strictly collecting coins and collectibles.

They were the first games i ever played on pc besides when i was 10 and playing Mario brothers on the original nintendo.

Sorry IF my titles aren't nostalgic enough for you to me they are and with many people going to BF3 soon perhaps BF2 will be nostalgic for many too.

Kings Quests
Independence War I & II (god, those were fun)
MW2 & 3 (I guess 4 too, a bit)
I'd add FS as well, but I still play those with FS:O

I also remember a Apple text based RPG where you would type out what you wanted to do and the game would respond, that was awesome.
