Heh... it's funny because he wanted to get a reaction out of saying "Pink Floyd", but thus far he has got none
For me... well, I don't listen to the Radio just my own music collection so I can't say I'm tired of any band because I don't listen to what I don't like![]()

Let's not turn this into a flame-fest, but name one band that you despise and, if you have them, give some basic reason as to why you do not like them or their music.
I'll start:
Pink Floyd - I am so bored and uninspired by their music. I have listened to basically every album they have released (more than once) and I find nearly all of them impossible to listen to without falling asleep.
even dark side of the moon??

U2 is horrible, any rap, especially white rappers.
Good char, NFG, any punk really is crap, especially blink 182.
Rolling stones, Pink Floyd, any of that old crap that gets way too much praise.
I really enjoy things like Tool, Radiohead, Poison the Well, Coolhand luke, Zao, Thursday

hahaha, you are crazy, along with everyone else that has bashed dmb, u2, rolling stones, pink floyd, grateful dead, beatles. besides radiohead (which is a longshot) none of the bands you listed will be playing in 20 years. something has to be said for music that can stand the test of time. like it or not, u2 and dmb will still be around in 20 years, either still making records or still being played on the radio

Yeah, they can change with the market. I'm sorry, but to me a band that only last a year or two, doesn't make hardly anything, and doesn't sell many records at all, but they play what they want and play music that means something to them, that really says something. Not some noise machine that plays such watered down products that everyone can buy in.

so you think that crappy bands aren't out there for money and have altruistic motives when writing music? it's the other way around man. the recording industry nowadays is out of control. you are actually saying that u2, rolling stones pink floyd, grateful dead, beatles are noise machines? wow you listen to some crap music. it's all about personal preference i guess. all the haters will eventually pay hommage and realize the greatness of said bands, i can only hope it's sooner rather than later
