System of a Down
Metallica (they do have two good songs, but I still hate them)
Dave Matthews Band

EDIT: What is up with no one liking Creed and Dasboard Confessional? How can you not like "Again I go unnoticed" is beyond me, altough I guess some people just don't like that style.

if the only pop punk you're listening to is what you get off of mtv...please don't start dissing an entire genre because of one popular television station which only puts dumbed down art of any genre onto its airwaves.

there's some really great pop-punk out there. granted the scene is getting too convulated with pos like gc and the like...but that's crappy pop punk : )

generally, anything you hear on radio/mtv is worthless dribble. There are select bands which have made it big and aren't a dime a dozen...but for the most part. so don't go dissing an entire genre.

One genre instead: emo punk. How in God's holy name could they even call that music emotional? "I'm so down 'cause you dumped my stupid ass, yea yea" same three chords play consistently. I swear the bands in that genre only focus on their refrain because they can only write about 3 seconds of semi-decent music which acts as their refrain. Terrible musicians, I'd like to kill them all.

you don't know what you're talking about. but that's a.ok

i shouldn't have visited this thread...i want to write a lot, but it'll just fall on deaf ears and start flame :0

*zips lips*

can i just say i dislike just about everything that's played on mtv?

Nickelback/Puddle of Mudd - I put them together because I always confuse the two. Generic hooks, bad vocals
American Hi-Fi and any new power-pop band singing about a girl

Same sound in almost every song, monotone, & boring music... overrated

You're gonna get flamed for that one, me thinks!

I can't stand pop-punk.

This doesn't apply to just pop punk. This applies to just about every genre MTV plays.

System of a Down
Red Hot Chili Peppers (everything since Mother's Milk) - their first three or so albums were great (esp. the George Clinton-produced Freaky Styley), but they are awful now
Aerosmith
Limp Bizkit
Kid Rock
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
pretty much all rap-metal and American white-boy "ska"

Heh... it's funny because he wanted to get a reaction out of saying "Pink Floyd", but thus far he has got none :p

For me... well, I don't listen to the Radio just my own music collection so I can't say I'm tired of any band because I don't listen to what I don't like :)

I'll start:

Pink Floyd - I am so bored and uninspired by their music. I have listened to basically every album they have released (more than once) and I find nearly all of them impossible to listen to without falling asleep.

even dark side of the moon??
