The Hess where I like to fill up had gas at $3.45 this morning. Not sure about now, but they tend to be slow at raising prices.

When? As of ~2:00pm, gas was sitting around 3.90-4.10 by Cedar Bluff.

Damn, gas just went up to $4.30 a gallon here. That's the highest I ever paid. Was only 3.99 a few hours ago, and 3.50 yesterday.. Should have filled up then 😛 Oh well..

Gas went up like 30 cents here to 3.89$, but there were no lines anywhere or shortages or anything like that. I presume its mostly all people paniking over nothing and then gas stations taking advantage of them and jacking up the prices because they think they can get away with it. The refineries are only going to be offline for like a week at most. Gas prices will be back down where they were in a few days after its clear that there is no long term damage.

Well it happened. It has gone down to $3.99. Some of our stations ran out of gas.

Here too, back down to $3.92. All those people rushing and crowding the streets of this town to get gas at 4.15 before it went to 4.30. I just laughed as I passed by.

I drive a vehicle that gets 14mpg on a good day and i dont give a shit over 3.99 vs. 4.30, not do I care that it was 3.50 yesterday. I went 40 miles a day in that thing when I was attending the community college and now I just drive it 2 miles a day to work.

I know when to count my blessing and couldn't really care less. I went back to pump up when the gas price went down and everyone had left cause they filled up with 4.15-4.30 gas. Idiots.
