Hmmm. I keep getting asked for a user id and password on the direct link.

I got that also so I tried right click and save as and that seems to be working anyway I'm downloading a 544 meg file now but my speed is only 25k.
 
Thanks for the info and thanks for the direct FTP link. Been trying all day to d/l it and kept on getting the error message. Been wanting to try Lindows, I guess I'll get my chance now that I've finished d/ling it.
 
Thanks for the news, registered just in time. Looks like the FTP site is getting hammered. Logged to my account and I'm 83rd on line to download. Can't wait, so I'm downloading it right now at my alternate source @ 157 kb/s.
Looks like this has been out since the 17th. 😉

I get connection with server could not be established. I suck at the download 🙁

 
Thanks for the ftp link chibchacan! I had tried several times before using the Lindows site download link and the countdown timer kept giving me errors.

Downloaded it in 46 min. 50 secs.


Since this is a direct link, does it mean I supplied Lindows with my personal information for nothing? Can anybody just download the image with that direct ftp link?

You rock man! D/ling at 125KB/Sec! And I'm still at 129th to download it. Bet I get it downloaded before the lindows file system bombs out.

Too bad I gave my cc info before I saw that it wasn't needed.

For those that gave CC info remember to cancel before trial period ends
 
Since we have now officially "bought" the product. We can download it anytime we want right? There really isn't a big rush to get it now or in the next couple days. Even if they take the coupon code down, we still bought it and can download it later. So I'm just gonna wait till next week and hope the server load has died down by then.

I guess I didn't read all the fine print. What trial period are you refering to? Did we sign up for some automatic update and payment program? I don't remember seeing anything to that effect. I'm a little confused.
