Lincoln Zephyr entry-level luxury sedan

The Duratec 30 in the Zephyr makes 210 horsepower and 200 pounds-feet of torque.
that engine seriously needs an update. 5 years ago that would have been good. but i don't think ford has put any money into since they developed it a decade ago.

Looks ugly.

The front just doesn't look right, in my opinion, and the rear reminds me of of an old volvo s40 for some reason.

Looks ok, but it needs a bigger motor, or at least an option for one. Chrysler and Cadillac are going to wipe the floor with it.

 Thumbs up on the interior.
 Thumbs down on the exterior. I hate the wide smiling mouth on the Maxima and I hate it on this Lincoln. That intake is too wide and prominent in the design, IMO. Also, the taillights are too large on an already boring rear fascia.

What a shame. The concept Zephyr looked a little more interesting at least.

Ford is developing a Duratec 35 (3.5L) version which they will release in 2005 to be put in many of its vehicles.

i know that, it is just taking them way too damn long. they're 2 or 2.5 years behind the curve in engines for just about every application.

way to go by trying to create a hip new car (to some extent) and naming it "zephyr"...something associated with seriously old school

yeah, I also think that it looks like anything but a Lincoln...Saturn, Kia, Avalon. Looks like the car has a stupid grin plastered across it's face.
