Wow what an f'd up thread. Several posters here should consider the following:

1) Seeking professional help
2) Not pursuing a relationship with a woman until they do

On further reflection it's probably the lack of 2 that necessitates number 1.

I'm definently detecting an under current of the girl I stalked doesn't like me.

Is Munky arguing that El Flusbo was right to call Sandra Fluke a slut and a prostitute because women on Survivor couldn't start a fire, or is this yet another desperate diversion from the Dittoheads?

More diversion, they have to believe Limpbaugh. Why would he lie?

Speaking of diversions... Why does Sandra think she's entitled to have someone else pay for her contraceptives? There couldn't possibly be a valid objection to her demands, after all it's FREE! Obviously, Sandra and Limbaugh are using a different numerical system, that must it...

No, Sandra Fluke thinks the insurance policy she pays for should cover contraception, which should reduce overall health costs for the women in the plan and thereby save money for the university.

I know facts can be painful for Dittoheads, but please try to keep up.

The insurance policy she pays for does not account contraception coverage into her premiums, and therefore should not be obligated to pay out, regardless of what Sandra thinks. If Sandra wants all-inclusive coverage, she's free to opt in for an all-inclusive policy which would adjust her premiums accordingly.

which should reduce overall health costs for the women in the plan and thereby save money for the university.
I know math is not your strong suit, but insurance companies are not in the charity business. If women are to receive contraceptive coverage when it's not calculated into their premiums, then the cost must necessarily be shifted somewhere else.

Then it's going to get a lot more painful for you once you learn how to separate facts from fiction.

Would that she could, but her school does not offer one because the Pope thinks life begins at ejaculation.

Again, contraception is cheaper than pregnancy and childbirth. There's no charity involved, no costs to shift.

See the above and tell me who still has problems accepting facts.

edit: I still wonder why you think any of this justifies calling a Georgetown Law student "slut" or "prostitute".

Read the Georgetown University health insurance plan
studentaffairs.georgetown.edu/insurance/premierplanbooklet.pdf

There are plans and schedules available which cover prescription drugs

Georgetown University student coverage includes prescription drugs, but excludes contraception.
It also doesn't cover a lot of other things, including Viagra. However it does cover contraceptives when used for the health conditions she mentioned as opposed to birth control.

Again, how does any of this make her a slut or prostitute?
The same way Bill Maher calling someone a "wise and beautiful woman" makes them a wise and beautiful woman. Free speech and all that.

In other words, you have no defense for El Flushbo's gross and demeaning characterizations of Sandra Fluke.

Whatever he called her doesn't detract from the bigger issues at hand. I know people like you would love that everyone just focus on who called what on someone, but I'm more concerned with the real question at hand, such as why does Sandra demand birth control coverage without paying for it, and why does Obama want to mandate that she's entitled to it.

First, the thread is explicitly about a prominent public figure's false, gross and demeaning characterization of a law school student merely because he disagreed with her politically.
Second, Sandra Fluke demands the right to pay for birth control coverage through her student insurance. She's not asking for anything free.
Third, President Obama is asserting that a business cannot exempt itself from normal health care and insurance rules merely because they happen to be affiliated with a church.

What's so hard to understand?

She didn't ask for it. She was speaking on behalf of a friend who needs it for medical reasons other than sex. But Limpbaugh couldn't process that with his tiny brain, apparently others are having the same problem in this thread.

Why is it her right to pay for coverage? If the coverage is not available at her school, then perhaps someone studying graduate law could have been smart enough to go to school elsewhere. But because of her choice, the entire school must go against their right to practice religion as they see fit, simply because poor old Sandra can't afford the $9/month BC pills available at Walmart.

If you read her statement, you would see that her friend is "technically covered" - those were her words.

And if you read her entire statement, you know, the next part, you'd see that about 20% of women were denied this coverage by the school and insurance company in the face of medical diagnosese by these women's physicians who determined it was medically necessary to treat chronic conditions, not to prevent pregnancy.

Except her statement lacks any hard data, verifiable numbers, or specific information on how she arrived at that figure. It also omits the fact that those students denied coverage have the right to appeal that decision.

You guys are still "discussing" this with Munky?

Haven't you figured out he is flame bait? 90% of his posts have been purely incendiary and downright insulting, not dealing with the topic in more than its root element.

This is either because of genuine stupidity or genuine rabble rousing.

^ And this is because you can't defend your position with any measure of objectivity, and thus your only option is to attack the messenger with propaganda. Straight out of the Democrat's playbook.

I have explained this before, go back a few pages and find it yourself.

From men, yes. The ones you say are not needed except to get the stuff that is needed.

If you need men to get the stuff required for reproduction, then men are needed. The concept is not hard to understand.

This argument also fails for the same reason Obamacare didn't reduce the costs of healthcare. The only pregnancies the insurance pays for are those which are carried to full term. Looking at the recent data Planned Parenthood released, it performed 329445 abortions and 841 adoption referrals. http://www.plannedparenthood.org/files/PPFA/PP_Services.pdf. That means the overwhelming majority of pregnancies the provider covers are planned pregnancies, and providing contraceptive coverage is not going to save the provider any money. So, the question remains, who is going to to pay for Sandra's BC pills if she wants more coverage than the policy she pays for offers?

It's all he's got.

Spidey, Alky, Munky, it's like the Tri-Force...but not really.

There are a few I no longer read, unless they are quoted (in which case I will only read them if I do not understand the context of the reply).

I think they just come here to yell a lot.
