The system *IS* corrupt and unfair, unfortunately not much can be done about it. Heck, even the Bible talks about this stuff and how it will never get better. It all falls down to sin/evil. Everyone by default has some evil in them. These days money seems to be what everything revolves around and the Bible talks even about that. The love of money is the root of all evil. Whether you believe in it or not, the teachings are pretty spot on in lot of life aspects considering some of those manuscripts were written thousands of years ago. Comes to show stuff has never really changed and probably won't.

IMO the only thing you can really do is think of those in even worse situations and be happy you're not there. It's kinda sad that it comes to that, but it is what it is. As corrupt as the government/system is, it could be much much worse. At least you have a place to stay and food. Just need to keep being a slave to the system.

It's because human nature hasn't changed over the years. Our situation as a whole may have changed with technology & industry, but we're the same as we were a thousand or two thousand years ago. If everyone did their part to (1) do good work in their jobs & at home with their families, and (2) contribute to their local community, I think like 99% of this planet's issues would be resolved. We just have so many dumb situations to deal with. We produce enough food to feed 10 billion people, and yet many in our current 7.6 billion population are starving. We have more access to food, medicine, and technology than ever, and yet we can't really help all of those people living in rotten situations in places like North Korea, where a dictator limits access. It's crazy.
