That's pretty frustrating to hear. I wonder what the deal with that is? Hopefully it's just in a different order and all the segments are intact.

well if it means anything, the Dolphin snippet in the BBC version was way better/amazing than the Ibex one. I'm guessing that Ibex scene will show up further down the line in the BBC version.

Its very odd that they would mix it up like that. I dont recall any variances in PE. Oh and again, Oprah blows (at narration) :p

Oprah seems the wrong voice for this.

Ok quick note. It seems in the BBC version they omitted the Ibex portion, but the "filming of" potion at the end was 2-3 times as long.

Music is different, some narration, and order of scenes is different.
That and Oprah, while tolerable, is way less affective. (IMHO of course)

that desert chameleon blew my mind. before oprah even mentioned the dark\light color it was holding, i knew wtf that chameleon was up too.

then those monkeys smashing those nuts with large rocks....evolution anyone?

I loved the camera work on the intro of the pebble toad. the scene with the pebble toad just minding his own business and the tarantula in the faded background was pretty good.

I'll be waiting for the June release of the David Attenborough Blu-ray version...

It's already out, if you know where to look.... :sneaky:
David Attenborough (Life narrator)>>>> Oprah Winfrey (Life narrator) everyone know this.

but what if we dont know where to look

I already posted a link to UK's Amazon where you can buy it and have it shipped over for 45 bucks. I'll probably just wait for the US release of the BBC version and get it then. .. or maybe I'll be impatient and order it from across the sea.
