Face the facts, ole Joe Lieberman is a Connecticut Senator which is somewhat a home to the insurance industry.

There is no way and hell that the insurance industry wants to face gasp competition in the form of a public option. And since their lobby money owns Joe Lieberman lock stock and barrel, he gives the general public bullshit while his brown nose its stuck deep up the insurance industries ass.

Isn't it funny that congress that is getting free medical and the best health care in the land are denying it from the public. It's like they don't want to give any of their perks away.

Joe is an idiot. He hasn't done ONE thing good unless you call making out with bush a good thing. But he's one of the worst ... right up there with mcsame. Drag your feet a bit more ya bastard...

Wouldn't expect any different of a response from the usual suspects ;)

Gee, there could be a million reasons to change an opinion, like perhaps there is the issue of practicality that he has come to realize since September.

But, the left would rather just demonize him, jump to the conclusion that he was paid off by insurance executives. Seriously, lefties, no one is listening to you anymore, try a different approach for a change :)

Yes, Joe is the 1st politician to change his stance on a subject. Now watch others decide to flip-flop on a whole range of subjects. Damn you, Joe.

Rightie apologists come to droopy dog's defense because he (again) sided with their position. Shocking.

C'mon, does anyone really believe Lieberman isn't going to fall in line with the liberal position? Connecticut is a big insurance state; he's just looking for enough cover to ensure his re-election.

Look Lieberman is pissed about what happened to him last go around and he's just pouting at the legislative scale. He loathes DNC leadership, doesn't give an F about his constituents and is basically just doing whatever he can to be annoying.

In other words, GTFO Lieberman.

Once more, the entire democrat party confounded by a single dummy. First Bush, now lieberman. Who exactly can the dems beat? Barely managed to beat an old man with a ditzy trophy running mate...took all the wind out of their sails

Isn't Joe's wife a lobbyist for insurance industry, so yeah, like someone said, I am sure there are millions of reasons for Joe to oppose this.

The same one you speculated voting for last year. Yeah, hindsight...

Yeah, one really shouldn't consider weighing each candidate and then coming up with a logical decision

Voted 3rd party last year, btw...

You talk about them now as if they were trailer trash. However, last year, you contemplated voting for them. BTW, Obama's margin of victory was large compared to recent elections and he broke new ground as a Democrat in many places despite the fact he was a political novice and Palin was actually respected for a while. But don't let facts get in the way of your revisionist memory.

Barely beat??? I classify the last presidential election as a bitchslap hence the constant GOP obstruction.
