The blower fan on on the Lian Li PC-V2100A Plus case is starting to make very loud noises. It has a seeking/clicking sound that hard drives make, and I can't figure out how to get it to stop.

It has plenty of power, and is fully secured in the case via four screws.

Here is an image of the fan I am talking about (top right corner) > http://www.mylianli.com/images/mb-overview2-S.jpg

I'm pretty sure it needs to be RMAd. Has anyone here every dealt with a Lian Li RMA before? Since they aren't in the US, how does it work?

I filled out their form here: http://www.lian-li.com/service.htm and it took me to a 404 page upon submission.

I have replaced all my original LL case fans with Yate Loons.
I switched out the 80mm and added 120mm where possible. The sound has improved with that add-ons.

The time and trouble saved. Go to: Jab-Tech
I just throw the originals in a drawer and use them on other cases.

I dunno!

I got a Mountain Mods case. They're made in Oregon!

If they piss me off, I can go punch someone in the nose... :)

I think it's just easier to replace the fan. I have a Lian Li and I put in 4x 120mm Antec Tr-Cool fans. Haven't had a single problem with them yet.

Same problem kind of happened to me with my V1100B Plus. I took the shroud off, and placed some mineral oil on the bearing (underneath the sticker) and it's been fine since (about a year ago).

"do they have a customer support e-mail?"
- That's why I am here, if they do, I would like to know...

"how about the retailer that you bought it from? "
- I got it from NewEgg, so I dunno if they can help or not.

well really a fan is part of the case. So maybe you could send the whole thing back and get a new one?

idk doesn't seem like anyone ever has problems with them heh.

I've never seen anyone get so upset over a fan. I understand it's the principle with you, but hey, they do have replacement fans you can just buy and be done with it.

- Upset? What have I said that makes me look upset?

"but hey, they do have replacement fans you can just buy and be done with it."
- When you buy a premium product, in this case one of the best cases around, you should have very good support. I can't believe that Lian Li doesn't have a support channel.

IMO fans included with most cases - regardless of who made the case - are cheap things anyway. Easier and probably cheaper to replace it than pay to ship back a fan for RMA.

Why not? Just put 011 in front for the international dialing prefix from the US.

011-886-2-24513000

Broken down, the phone number is:

International Dialing Prefix from US 011
Taiwan Country Code 886
Keelung City Code 2
local telephone number 24513000
:)
