Leviathan: Warships - Boats... with freaking LAAAZZZEEERS!

Trailer... (the trailer itself is too damn funny)

It looks like a nice time waster of a game - RTS style ship-to-ship combat with guns, lasers, rockets, etc. But what stokes my curiosity - they tout cross-platform play for PC, Mac AND Android. I'm confused, since in the trailer they said 4 platforms, so maybe they forgot iOS?

Anyway, the game reminds me sort of the old Intellivision game "Sea Battle". Just, modern... and awesomer. Customizable ships, multiplayer, single player campaign, looks cool. Simple. Elegant.

"You're gonna ship yourself."

One of the better game trailers I've seen in awhile.

"It's cheaper than a real boat. Can't argue with that."

"Free shipping......no really, it's digital, there is no box."

Releasing on both Android and PC, nice. I could use a good in-depth strategy game for my phone.

Hahaha! Great trailer! So refreshing from the... from the other usually generic ship we're seeing around. Well it's not my cup of tea but it definitely reminds me of Gratuitous Space Battles, it's pretty much the same concept (well I really like GSB, but Leviathan is about naval warfare and that's not quite the setting I like overall). And, it's true, it's less expensive than a "real" boat, can't argue with that!

I truly wish that Indie game a good start and I think it will have a nice one too. As for me, yeah I'll pass, but had it been something along the lines of ground tank-based battles in some urban or desert (or both) settings then perhaps I would have been interested (although for that I could just go with Gratuitous Tank Battles which I've never played but have seen plenty of videos of and seems quite good).

LOL, an early contender for trailer of the year 😀

I'm kind of busy with XCom right now, but this looks like it's easily worth $10.

The difference between it and GSB is that you have full control per turn over your fleet, where as GSB is set your fleet and then watch the sim happen.

Sounds interesting. I've heard that it's going to be on Steam too which would be a bonus.

I do hope that if one purchases a PC version that they can get a free/cheaper version for Android.
