or, you could, you know, BUY one. From Unicomp.
They had some serious quality issues on their version a few years ago. I've been considering giving them another shot, but I'm afraid of getting burned. The keyboard front wasn't attached to the back plate properly and it caused keys to stop working.

Shit i want one now...i don't think 1 key poped out of place

Man that's such a classic video. I think it's literally one of the first videos I saw on the internet. It was sent by email and took like an hour to download. How we take stuff for granted now days haha.

If you type "office rage" in youtube there's quite a few other funny ones too. 😀

Oh and I absolutely hate flat keyboards. We all got new computers at work and those are the keyboards we got. Did not take long for me to ask for my old one back. It's like trying to type on a calculator.

Agreed, the new keyboards that come with the business systems we get feel like garbage

When CPUs, GPUs, and memory are no longer bottlenecks for pretty much imaninable workload but mining and operating systems don't blue screen much, keycaps are what we're left with to talk about. It's a good sign for users but it's also boring. 🙁

It seems to me the way is open for liquid nitrogen cooling solutions for high performance keyboarding. Chromium nickel springs, copper bases, polytetrafluoroethylene containment liners, and high-lead solder will be much sought after to withstand the rigors of nitrogen cooling.
But what about the laser keyboards?

Model M is just a cost cut Model F.

Model F is the best.

I have a Filco Majestouch2 Ninja w/ MX Cherry Browns. Also custom PBT keycaps, which made a big difference over the stock cheap ABS plastic ones.

besides the hardcore retro-looking 'made from the blood of Japanese mechanical switch unicorns' crowd, it seems corsair is pretty popular.

Hahah, I went ahead and followed your suggestion. Reminded me how CRT monitors were basically desktop weapons. Each one could be turned into 50lbs of chaos and destruction.
